Take My Hand And Walk With Me A Little While

Silas (121)

Take my hand and walk with me a little while,

don’t let go, hold my hand and squeeze it tight,

I know you’re growing tall and big and strong,

but hold onto me a little while more.

I know you are growing, and soon you wont need me anymore,

so hold my hand or my finger a little while more.

Walk with me, talk with me, throw those little arms around me once more,

I know one day you will be a man,

but to me, you will always be my little, first born son.

They do grow up too fast. This poem is beautiful.
